Position: Reach Stacker Operator
Location: Lahore
Salary: PKR 40,000/month
Department: Operations / Logistics
Reporting To: Yard Supervisor / Terminal Manager
Job Summary
The Reach Stacker Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating reach stacker equipment to handle containers within the terminal, yard, or designated work areas.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate reach stacker equipment for loading and unloading containers from trucks, rail wagons, and storage stacks.
• Stack containers in accordance with terminal procedures and safety standards.
• Shift and relocate containers within the yard as directed by the Yard or Terminal Supervisor.
• Conduct daily equipment checks and promptly report any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
• Handle containers carefully to prevent damage.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Accurately record and report container movements, when required.
• Assist with other terminal operations as needed.
Requirements:
• Minimum qualification: Matric or equivalent.
• Valid license or certification to operate heavy machinery or a reach stacker (preferred).
• 1–2 years of experience in container handling or port operations (preferred).
• Proven ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor environments.
• Basic knowledge of safety standards related to container handling.
