HRSG – Innovative Business Solutions is currently hiring for the following position for one of its client.
Position: IT Support Engineer
Location: DP World – ICD Lahore
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide support for installation and configuration/troubleshooting of computer hardware, software, systems, networks, wireless, IP phones, printers, scanners, UPS, and IP cameras.
• Assist users in resolving computer-related issues.
• Perform installations and upgrades on all PCs/notebooks.
• Provide endpoint support and ensure antivirus software is running properly on all systems.
• Offer Tier 1 local application support.
• Ensure that no illegal software is installed on company systems.
• Accomplish all tasks and responsibilities assigned by the Assistant Manager, IT Support.
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and network links.
• Respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests.
• Provide technical support across the company (in person and over the phone).
• Set up Active Directory (AD) accounts for new users.
• Repair and replace equipment as necessary.
• Demonstrate strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills to resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain smooth and professional communication with customers through various channels such as web, email, and phone.
• Respond to customer calls and emails, and act accordingly to resolve issues.
• Duty hours are 12 hours on-site (Monday to Friday).
• Experience/certification in Microsoft Windows and other Microsoft products is required.
Qualifications & Competencies:
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
