Position: Engineering Lab Technician – Circuit and Card Repair
Location: Port Qasim
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair circuits and PCBs using tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, soldering irons, and rework stations.
- Perform visual inspections and functional testing.
- Troubleshoot and identify root causes of electronic issues.
- Replace or rework damaged components (e.g., resistors, capacitors, ICs).
- Maintain repair records and assist with PCB assembly and modifications.
- Collaborate with engineers to improve designs and address issues.
- Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and company policies.
- Maintain lab equipment and ensure proper calibration.
Requirements:
- DAE in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting and repairing circuits and PCBs.
- Strong understanding of electronic components, schematics, and circuit diagrams.
- Proficiency with repair tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters, soldering).
- Experience with SMT and through-hole soldering techniques.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently.
