Job Summary:

A Finance business partners will be accountants to work closely with a particular business unit creating a real and active partnership with both operations and management. Their role is to provide ‘real time’ support and analysis, to be a trusted adviser and to add value that will assist in decision making.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Providing financial reports and interpreting financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action
  • Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans
  • Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
  • Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met
  • Manage the preparation of the company’s budget
  • Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained
  • Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken
  • Manage banking-related challenges along with the treasury management
  • Maintain the financial health of the organization
  • Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company (payroll, invoicing, and other transactions)
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements

𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐬/𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬

  • Accounting & Financial Reporting, Statutory audit management, Receivable Reporting/follow-ups / Reconciliations
  • Cash/liquidity management, debt facility management, maintaining bank relationships, treasury reporting
  • Familiarity with SAP/Oracle/MS Dynamics 365 working
  • Organization where worked, size should not be less than 300 employees (5 to 8 departments/teams)
    Finance Department where worked, size should not be less than 10 employees
  • Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns
  • Proficient user of financial software/systems /SAP
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
  • A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
  • Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and Tax regulations
  • Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners
  • Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information

Education and Experience:

  • Proven 5-6 years of relevant experience in various finance departments
  • ACCA/CA Finalist or similar education

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Comfortable with meeting with clients on different locations if required.
