Salary Range: Rs. 250,000- 300,000 +Benefits

Job Summary:

The role is responsible to design and implement Company’s Agriculture project covering areas of business planning, forecasting, commercial and contracts management and stakeholders management from the CEOs Office.

Furthermore, the role will be responsible to research modern practices in agrcitulre in order to recommend projects/initiatives for the agri division. As a part of the role, the incumbent will develop feasibility studies to justify investment into agri projects and executing these with the help of external and internal stakeholders.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Project Head Agri to establish Company’s entry into contractual farming by working with various external and internal stakeholders to implement an end-to-end system that maximizes agricultural output, minimizes wastage and helps improve overall farm economics.
• Responsible for planning and implementing a quick scale up strategy to take Company agri division forward
• Research and identify new business opportunities in agricultural space by developing detailed feasibilities and presenting to top management.
• Follow industry trends locally and internationally to improve agri business model
• Be the key commercial support for development and execution of contracts with various agri stakeholders
• Ability to understand farm dynamics, identify problems in the value chain and initiate projects improve overall output.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Analytical skills: require excellent analytical skills and ability to build and understand financial models
• Speaking skills: require strong oratory / speaking skills.
• Interpersonal skills: require strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills in order to work with internal and external stakeholders. Possess the confidence to deal with senior executives as well.
• Digital skills: Familiarity with information technology, especially digital and video means of communication, is essential..
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

• Graduate degree in Finance, Economics or General Management though candidates with other degrees are also urged to apply.
• 3-5 years of experience as part of a business development/Strategy team. Experience of developing feasibility studies, business planning and forecasting.
• Prior management of value chain related projects
• Incumbent must be passionate about corporate farming and revolutionizing agriculture landscape in Pakistan
