Job Title: Manager/Senior Manager Fundraising Industry: Healthcare/Hospital

Job Summary:
Preparing an annual fundraising plan for the Hospital. Researching and approaching trusts, government agencies, corporates and other bodies that could potentially make donations and grants to the organization.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Writing proposals, managing the grant application process and ensuring that reporting is tracked and meets donors’ expectations.
- Managing growth of online fundraising and engagement programs by executing effective strategies and techniques via email, website promotions, and other digital channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.
- Organizing fundraisers in collaboration with FOKC and Youth Initiative members to raise funds for treatment of poor and needy patients.
- Planning and execution of Zakat Appeal campaign for the Hospital.
- Exploring various funding opportunities online to generate funds for the institution.
- Developing relationships with major donors, identifying new potential major donors and nurturing relationships.
- Recording, monitoring and reporting financial progress in terms of donations received during the year.
- Liaising with the advertising agency for developing content and promotional material etc.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Should be able to write letters, edit, proofread, and write grant proposals and press releases.
- Computer literacy including solid working knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Excel and database management.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors or Master’s degree from reputable University
- Proven experience of fundraising and social media marketing.
Competencies:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills and creative thinking.
- Should be highly organized, good decision maker and problem solver.
